How To Use This Board

A fast, bettor-friendly workflow for identifying worthwhile strikeout props without getting lost in the slate.

  1. 1
    Start with Value %

Higher positive values indicate the model-implied price is more favorable than the current consensus number.

  2. 2
    Check line alignment

Matched or nearby consensus strikeout lines help make the comparison cleaner and the value signal easier to trust.

  3. 3
    Filter the slate quickly

Use search and quick pills to isolate positive edges, narrow by team, and build a short list for deeper handicap work.

In the table above, you’ll find today’s starting pitchers along with key strikeout betting data. For each pitcher, we display:

  • Team: Team the starting pitcher plays for.
  • Opp: Opponent (Team starting pitcher is facing)
  • Projected Line: The projected line via Ballpark Pal models.

  • Model Projection: The number of strikeouts the Ballpark Pal model expects.

  • Projected Odds: What the model calculates the true odds should be.

  • Consensus Line: The closest market line to the projected line
  • Consensus Odds: The actual odds available in the market.

  • Value (%): The difference between the model’s projection and the market odds represented as a percentage. A positive Value Delta suggests the model sees an edge — indicating a potential betting opportunity.

***Please note: The Value Delta column is only applicable when the consensus line and projected line match. We do our best to match lines efficiently but sometimes there exists discrepancies in the data.

  • Bettors commonly use the value percentage or the strikeout projection within their handicapping analysis.
  • Note: Some lines and odds may close or become unavailable as games begin.
