Brewers starter Corbin Burnes has pitched better on the road than at home throughout his career. He has a 2.93 ERA and 0.8 home runs per nine innings allowed on the road versus a 3.49 ERA and one home run per nine innings allowed at home. The Cardinals are giving Matthew Liberatore his first start of the season after he registered a 5.97 ERA with 4.7 walks per nine innings in nine appearances in 2022.

Twins vs. Dodgers Total 8.5. Greg’s Total 7.9.

Both starting pitchers, Sonny Gray for the Twins and Dustin May for the Dodgers, have allowed a combined one home run across 92 /13 innings this season. They get to face lineups that are hitting either .230 or .231. They also have a combined one start out of 16 with more than three runs allowed while Gray leads qualifying American League pitchers with a 1.39 ERA and 1.89 FIP.

Rays vs. Mets (-115). Greg’s Line: Rays -127.

The Rays lead the league in batting average, home runs, and runs per game to support starting pitcher Josh Fleming, whose ERA is nearly the same as Mets starter Kodai Senga’s. Senga has a 4.14 ERA with 5.6 walks per nine innings with all eight of his starts coming against teams at or below .500. He is backed up by a Mets lineup that is last among National League teams in home batting average.
